How International Market Centers is filling the midseason

The inaugural fall midseason buying event is set for Oct. 10-11.

LAS VEGAS — International Market Centers is launching a new midseason gift and lifestyle buying event this fall at the World Market Center Las Vegas to meet buyer and seller demand between its previously established events.

“West Coast gift and lifestyle buyers and sellers want more opportunities to come together at World Market Center Las Vegas,” said Bob Maricich, IMC CEO. “A successful pilot Spring Buying Event earlier this year confirmed the importance of midseason events for these sectors, and we’re delighted to satisfy this demand by adding two new in-person events to our World Market Center Las Vegas calendar.”

The inaugural Fall Buying Event is set for Oct. 10-11.

IMC first explored the viability of midseason markets in Las Vegas in April 2022 with its first-ever Spring Buying Event, which featured more than 50 leading manufacturers and sales agencies. Feedback from buyers and sellers was overwhelmingly positive, leading to the official establishment of these new semi-annual events in April and October.

The new Spring and Fall Buying events are an extension of World Market Center Las Vegas’ open year-round offerings in the Las Vegas Design Center. At the April and October events, buyers can source from gift, lifestyle, gourmet, tabletop and decor showrooms on campus, plus the LVDC’s 30-plus designer showrooms presenting more than 120 product lines.

A full list of participating showrooms for October’s event will be available closer to the event. Appointments are recommended, with showrooms open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
